Katie Price eyes Olympic gold for horse riding

Katie Price has a lot on her mind lately. The glamorous model is multitasking with home and career. Other than her passion for hubby Petre Andre, there is yet another love of her life, her horse.

Katie Price a.k.a Jordan has a new dream these days: to bring an Olympic gold for horse riding. Katie, who has had a life-long love of horses, has her heart set on representing Team GB in equestrian events at the 2012 Olympics.

The model-turned-businesswoman is in training on her horse, Glamour Girl, five times a week. The stunner was last month snubbed for not being posh enough to attend the Cartier polo event but Katie, 30, believes the horse scene is already becoming more welcoming of her efforts to give the sport a wider audience.

"I have the Horse Of The Year show coming up and I"m going to buy a horse now and aim for the Olympics," the Daily Express quoted her, as telling breakfast television host Lorraine Kelly. Katie added: "I went to the Burghley Horse show the other week, which you could say is rather snobby, but they were really welcoming."

Here was Katie Price at the Paper Club in Regent Street, London yesterday - wearing what appears to be a Strictly Come Dancing-style dress with built in flesh-coloured bits (probably best not to look too closely) and launching her new perfume, 'Besotted'.

The Artist Formerly Known As Jordan used the opportunity, of course, to have a dig at arch rival Victoria Beckham - and specifically, Posh's recent perfume launch in Manchester.

"I saw Victoria in pictures wearing the white dress with a kind of furry thing on the back and I just thought she's on another night out," said Katie. "I had no idea she was supposed to be promoting her new perfume - she didn't make any effort at all. She should have a bit more fun with it like I did.I envisaged a beach with a half-naked lady and that's what I did. Now everyone has seen my new boobs and I hope I've made the public happy."

English glamour model Katie Price and her singer husband Peter Andre renewed their wedding vows in a bid to save their failing marriage. Pals, who witnessed them bickering constantly, fear that the two are going to split up after sometime.

Even relationship experts think that renewing their vows after just three years of marriage was a sign that it would not last. Jordan, 30, and 35-year-old Andre reportedly sneaked off to South Africa without their children Harvey, six, Junior three, and one-year-old Princess Tiaamii, to renew their vows.

"It's purely for us," the Daily Star quoted Andre as having told Star magazine. A source has revealed that things have not been going very well for the couple. "Their future really doesn't look like a bed of roses. There has been a lot of tension recently. They both love to have their own way," the source said.

"Maybe this was their way of trying to hold their relationship together," the source added. The couple have been at each other's throats on their ITV2 show Katie & Peter: The Next Chapter. Sporting a T-shirt with the slogan Love Kills Slowly, Andre was quite open about the relationship not working out.

While most ladies would stay on a diet of healthy food to keep trim, English glamour model Katie Price a.k.a. Jordan has revealed that junk food does the trick for her.

Price, 30, who is a mother of three, claimed that it is because of her genetic make-up that she stays slim on junk food.

“I’ve got this reverse metabolism,” the Daily Express quoted Price as having told New! magazine.

“When I was in the jungle [on I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!] I was the only one who put half a stone on.

“The more junk I eat the more my metabolism goes up. If I live on salads and fish, my belly gets bloated and I put on weight,” she added.
